Dr Ciaran Bent

Dr Ciaran Bent always had a vocation to be a General Practitioner. He is a Bachelor of Medicine and is a Registered Medical Specialist in General Practice. He is also a member of the Faculty of General Practice.

He has five children. He worked in the Children’s Hospital Crumlin and was awarded the Diploma in Child Health.

Dr Ciaran is a Bachelor of Obstetrics and worked in the Rotunda Maternity Hospital. He was awarded the Licentiate in Midwifery, the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology  and also the Diploma of Obstetrics Royal College of Physicians.

He provides a fully comprehensive service for smear testing, STD testing & contraception. He was awarded the Advanced Certificate in Family Planning for fitting Mirena Coils & Implanon Implants.  He was also awarded the Certificate in Family Planning, Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology/ Royal College General Practitioners.

Dr Ciaran worked in three different Psychiatric Hospitals and deals with all Psychological and Psychiatric problems at practice level.

He is a Bachelor of Surgery and performs minor surgery to remove warts, moles, skin tags, ingrown toe nail etc. He also worked in Orthopaedics and injects Frozen Shoulders, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow, and Calcaneal Spurs in the heel etc.

Dr Ciaran treats a wide variety of skin conditions. He worked in St Anne’s Skin and Cancer Hospital and also St Luke’s Cancer Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of medicine.
