Dr Aodhnait O’Neill is originally from Cork and graduated from UCC in 2011. She initially trained in emergency medicine from 2012 – 2016, and worked as an emergency medicine registrar in Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin, and Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. During this time, she also completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine from UCC. She entered the Trinity College Dublin GP Specialist Training Programme in 2016 and graduated in July 2020.
During her time on the GP Scheme, she worked in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Emergency Medicine. Aoghnait has a special interest in Dermatology and completed a Professional Certificate in Clinical dermatology in UCD in May 2020. She also has an interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Sports Medicine.
